CPQ3D ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data We Collect

When you sign up for a CPQ3D account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Website URL (used to configure your 3D configurator)

We also collect standard analytics data such as page views and browser type through Cloudflare's infrastructure. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information you provide to:

  • Create and manage your CPQ3D account
  • Send you setup instructions and onboarding emails
  • Provide customer support and respond to your enquiries
  • Communicate service updates, changes, or maintenance
  • Configure your 3D configurator for your website domain

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the basis of contract performance — the data is necessary to provide the CPQ3D service you have signed up for. Where we send service communications, this is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining the service relationship. You may object to non-essential communications at any time by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following sub-processors to deliver our service:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — Our hosting infrastructure, CDN, and edge network. Cloudflare processes request data to route traffic and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Auth0 (Okta, Inc.) — Authentication provider used to manage secure login for CPQ3D accounts. See Auth0's Privacy Policy.

Each of these providers operates under appropriate data processing agreements and is bound by GDPR obligations where applicable.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

  • lang — Stores your language preference (e.g., English, Dutch, French). This cookie is functional and does not track you across sites.
  • Session cookies — Standard cookies used to maintain your authenticated session when logged in to the CPQ3D dashboard. These expire when you close your browser or log out.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years for Belgian tax law purposes, limited to billing records only).

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject in the EU, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — You may request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to data portability — You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to restriction — You may ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to object — You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active account holders by email.
